About LPC Components
Established in 1928, LPC Components have been working with our customers to provide bespoke engineering solutions for nearly 100 years.
We are an independent, privately-owned business, soundly managed by a strong team with years of experience. Whilst each member of our management team has a particular strength, everyone who works at LPC puts quality first, creating electronic and thermodynamic solutions at competitive prices for our valued customers. All of our products are designed, manufactured and tested in the UK, which is why we see ourselves as leading the charge for the great revival of UK manufacturing.
Our two key areas of focus are growth and continuous improvement. Every single employee of LPC has embraced these ideas – looking at how they tackle every task, always looking to find a better, more efficient way of completing it. We’ve also been rolling out lean manufacturing techniques across the organisation and benefiting from the resulting efficiencies.
We are also committed to minimising the impact of our operations on the environment in any way we can. Whether it’s encouraging our staff to cycle to work or substituting raw materials for more sustainable alternatives, we always make sure our outlook and manufacturing techniques are future-facing.
Quality:
Quality is at the heart of everything that we do and this is demonstrated by our accreditation to BS EN ISO9001:2015. This standard covers both design and manufacture of products, which is particularly appropriate for our business given that the majority of products are custom built for specific applications.
Efficiency:
From the moment we receive the initial contact from our customer to the moment the goods are delivered, we strive to ensure that we are operating at the maximum level of efficiency. We recognise that down time is the ultimate enemy of production, which is why our breakdown service pulls out all the stops to get your urgent order to you at the earliest opportunity.
Technology:
The advanced techniques that we use have been developed over the years to ensure that we are at the cutting edge of modern manufacturing. This, coupled with heavy investment in CAD/CAM/CAE and modern machinery, has led to one of the most advanced and highly-respected manufacturing facilities in the UK.
